At present this is just an experiment in webpage design. As such it is subject to radical change as I progress. Here's hoping I don't make a mash-up of it ... LOL!
What we become depends on what we read after all of the professors have
finished with us. The greatest university of all is a collection of
books.

Books I like
During my life I have been a prolific reader, reading an eclectic variety of subjects. Reading like this gives you a far broader, and in my opinion, far better education than you can get at any school/university, as they all want to bend you to their will and make you fit in a box !
Books: History: All subjects, helps to keep from repeating previous mistakes. Highly under-rated Time enough for Love Stranger in a Strange Land by: Robert A. Heinlein Note: I've read all his books and thoroughly enjoyed every one of them as I am a SciFi buff, but not only. Liberty and Tyranny by: Mark R. Levin Men in Black by: Mark R. Levin Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus by: John Gray, Ph.D. Pillars of the Earth By: Ken Follet the Iliad By: Homer The Far Pavilions by: M M Kaye Authors: These are authors I have read and would recommend. Not necessarily in any order. Robert A. Heinlein(RIP) IMHO one of the greatest SciFi writers ever Clive Cussler: All of the NUMA series Kahlil Gebran Dostoyevski Ralph Waldo Emerson Poul Anderson Issac Asimov Gandhi Plato Socrates Homer Marx & Lenin (it's good to know how your enemy thinks) Mao Tse tung (again, know your enemy) Shakespeare Thomas Jefferson Benjamin Franklin Disraeli Martin Luther King Don't Bother List: These are idiots, plain & simple ! Jeremiah Wright Barack Obama/Michele Obama Al Gore Jimmy Carter Jesse Jackson Al Sharpton Richard Nixon |
